William Brown is a Boston based lighting designer for theatre and dance as well as an MFA Lighting Design Candidate at Boston University. Lighting has been a passion of his from a young age while he growing up in Austin, TX and he continues to be excited by the many uses of theatrical lighting. He enjoys collaborating with other theatre artists and technicians to tell stories that have the ability to take the audience on a journey to new, and unfamiliar places. Projects that merge the art with the technology to draw the audience into the world and emphasize key emotional moments of the story are especially exciting to him. William holds a BFA in Production Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
